An Arabic manuscript with Persian interlinear translation. On f. 134b the title of the book and the owner's name, viz: Mullah Muhammad Sadiq ibn Makmud Baj from the city of Khotan. On the same page the year, which evidently is an error for 1285/1868-1869. On f. 132 a verse in Turki. Cf. this evidently is the same work as the copy in the Tashkent catalogue, Vol. 8, No. 5902; further Zetterstéen I: 156, 157, 158:3, 217:2

Foliation: The ms. is foliated by G. Jarring.

On ff. 19b-20a a drawing in colours of the Ka'ba

Brown leather binding with decorations and sentences in Persian

Origin

Place of origin: Eastern Turkistan

Date of origin: 1285/1868-1869

Provenance: Acquired in Kashghar by Rev. Gustaf Ahlbert in the 1930's for 3 sär (f. 1a); later on presented to Gunnar Jarring.

Acquisition: The ms. was part of the Jarring collection of Eastern Turkistan manuscripts donated to the Lund University Library in 1982.
