Qurban Niaz Akhon

Turki poetry

Thirteen different songs, evidently intended for mission-use, both in the schools of the mission and in the church. Author is Qurban Niaz [Akhon] which is evident from a note on f. 3a. The date given is January 8, 1931. Most probably these songs are the basis for the music in Prov. 122. The songs are supplied with different annotations in lead-pencil as to tunes etc and also the years in which the songs have been composed, ranging from 1924 to 1930
